Rules
1. All submissions must be created from original content. Please do not submit copyrighted, traced, licensed or published works of art. These entries will not be considered.
2. Entries submitted must be images of either real or artificial pumpkins. No computer generated carvings will be accepted.
3. All entries submitted become the property of HMS Mfg. Co. and will not be returned.
4. HMS Mfg. Co. reserves the right to use contest entry photos and designs for promotional and commercial purposes.
5. If there are not enough qualified entries prizes will not be awarded.
6. Late entries will not be considered.
7. Any taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners.
8. Contest rules may change without notice.
9. All judging decisions are final.
10. Void where prohibited by law. |

Categories
The Carving Challenge will consist of 5 categories including but not limited to:
• Monsters/Ghosts/Vampires
• Nature • Animals
• Scenes • Faces
Photo Tips
Here are some tips for photographing your pumpkin. Remember the quality of your photo will be important in the judging process.
• Place your pumpkin against a dark background.
• Make sure the pumpkin is lit with enough light so you do not have to use a flash. Candles or Home Logic Halloween Pumpkin Lights work well.
• Adjust the focus so the pumpkin is sharpest object in the shot.
• Use a film speed of 400 or higher.

Prizes
Contest entries will be organized and judged by HMS Mfg. Co. You may enter multiple categories, but only one entry form and design is allowed per category.
1st Place - $500
&
HMS Mfg. Co. will donate $500 towards a charity or school
of the winners choice!
2nd Place - $250
3rd Place - $100
Deadline
All mail-in entries must be postmarked or submitted by Nov. 22, 2007. Prizes will be awarded by December 31st, 2007. Entries not meeting the criteria listed in the rules section will not be judged. Entries cannot be returned.
